Veteran/retired law enforcement officer having served a total of 26 years. This career began as a detention officer while completing my undergraduate degree and progressed to a police office/detective and finally to a federal task force officer assigned to North Texas Electronic Crimes Task Force at the Dallas Field Office of the United States Secret Service. After leaving full-time law enforcement, I continued to serve as a reserve for several ore years. From there, I transitioned to a role with the University of North Texas to serve as a full-time Director of Digital Forensics where I built the university's first Cyber Forensics Lab. In 2018, I transitioned to the private sector to the field of digital forensics incident response (DFIR).
