I have over 14 years of experience in the IT field. My current position is Associate Technical Analyst for a BC Ferries. I am formally trained in network administration and, when hired for my first IT position, I was responsible for administering over 70 Windows workstations. At the time, the servers and workstations were all NT, but over the past 15 years I have been able to work with all varieties of Windows clients and servers.(I personally use Windows 7, Mac OS X, and Fedora Linux at home.) I have also had the opportunity to take on minor roles as a web designer, and database administrator. I have an exceptionally broad range of experiences. Working for over 10 years in a company that produced both print and online content, then as a do-it-all system analyst, I have seen many challenges, and worked with many different personalities. I approach everything I do, and everyone I interact with, with respect and patience. I apply logic to tough problems, and I am not satisfied until a solution is found.
