About John Hernandez

Hi, I am a results-driven HSES Engineer, and what sets me apart is how I approach safety and compliance - not as a "safety cop", but as a partner in the field. Here's what I see too often: Procedures that don't match reality, training that doesn't stick, and safety people who talk at workers instead of with them. That is where I come in. I take the time to learn from people actually doing the job. I ask them how they get it done, then walk them through how the procedure states it is supposed to be done - and if the current procedure doesn't work in the real world, I'm the guy who will roll up his sleeves, go out to the site, and work side-by-side to fix it. I update procedures, make them practical, and get buy-in because I've built trust with the workers. People know I care because I show up, sweat with them, and help solve problems together - not from behind a desk. I want to use this same approach to build sustainable practices, ensure regulatory compliance, and create a strong HSES culture. Together we can build a safer site!
