Past President and CEO of Custom Display Solutions (CDS), Inc. Founded in March of CDS was a design-engineering-manufacturer of custom display systems, mounts, lift mechanisms, enclosures, touch-enabled displays, multi-media furniture and ancillary devices to the audio-visual (A/V) industry. I began my involvement with the Audio-Visual Industry in 1989, initially working for Stewart Filmscreen Corporation as a product specialist. Three years later, I joined American Video Communications (AVC) as a systems salesman and later transferred to its sister company, Visual Structures, Inc.(VSI Trooper) as a Sales Engineer. At VSI Trooper/AVC, I was promoted from Sales Engineer to Manager, Sales & Marketing. In 1996, Barco Visual Systems Purchased AVC & Trooper and I was promoted to VP of Sales & Marketing. In I helped Barco sell VSI to Da-Lite Screen Company, and stayed on, before leaving in to start my own design / engineering/ manufacturing company. I attended Wentworth Military Academy and then Arizona State University. I have a degree in Business Management and I am a former Captain in the United States Army Reserve. Early in my AV career, I became uniquely familiar with the many facets of projection screen technology & "folded optics" and I'm considered an industry expert on the subject. Since CDS was on the leading edge of both projection (of all kinds) and specialized in direct-view (LCD & LED), display mounting technology. For over 20 years, CDS's experience with display technology and mechanical design was of unparalleled value to its clients in creating impressive, innovative custom display solutions.
