As a Possessions Manager at ARTC, I spearhead the Interstate Possessions Team, orchestrating operational access for track maintenance and project endeavors spanning 5 Australian States. Our focus remains steadfast on minimizing disruptions to network operations while collaborating closely with project teams and rail operators to ensure optimal outcomes for all stakeholders. In my tenure, I've championed the optimization of processes, procedures, and technological advancements within our team, yielding significant efficiencies and bolstering overall performance. Presently, our sights are set on embedding a culture of continuous improvement into our day-to-day operations. In 2021, I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Management & Human Resource Management, an experience that ignited my fervor for enhancing organizational and operational efficiency through the implementation of ethical, transparent management strategies, coupled with robust employee development initiatives. My diverse professional background spans roles in Fire & Building Safety, Information Technology, and Retail, each contributing to my steadfast commitment to maintaining a safety-centric ethos. This dedication has been honed through hands-on experience and my role in providing guidance to peers and colleagues. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of leading small-scale projects, crafting comprehensive safety and operational protocols, installing and maintaining fire safety systems, refining internal organizational processes, and fostering positive workplace cultures. I strongly believe that the environment matters, if people feel safe within an organisation, the natural response is trust and cooperation. This then leads to positive, efficient and profitable workplaces. Above all, I want a better world for my children to grow up into, where they will enjoy what they do and will be valued members of society. Beyond the workplace I love being present with my family, being on the golf course and I am an active viewer of almost all sports. I my spare time I get easily addicted to Netflix and a good book.
