About John Holt

Co-founder of Waratek, the pioneering company behind the ARMR Security-as-Code platform. Waratek defends every application, everywhere with the only enterprise app security platform that finds and fixes vulnerabilities in real-time and defends against zero-day threats. Before Waratek, John’s career spanned fifteen years in operational management across diverse industry environments including manufacturing, home improvements and human services, and twelve years in business academics. Awarded First Class Honours in his BSc (Psych) Hons degree in cross-cultural psychology, John won a Commonwealth Scholarship to read for a PhD at the Australian Graduate School of Management, University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. Here he completed his thesis investigating Organisational Management Practices and Organisational Culture in 1997. In 2008, John was instrumental in relocating the company from Australia to Ireland to improve access to international markets. John works with the executive management and board in building the management team necessary to maximise Waratek's success.
