Responsible for the overall coordination of the hospital quality program including Clinical Outcomes/Performance Improvement, Infection Prevention, Case Management and Outcomes Management Division. Responsible for planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, regulating, and budgeting the division in the most efficient and effective manner. Provides support, direction and development of employees. Maintains standards of quality in accordance with accepted national standards, and hospital and departmental policies/procedures. Assures validity of data submitted to designated/required entities. Monitors hospital performance in quality and clinical outcomes and communicates results and opportunities for improvement to medical staff and hospital leaders. Responsible for monitoring and analyzing clinical outcomes and performance improvement indicators. Collaborates with hospital and medical staff leadership to develop strategies to improve performance. Provides designated reports to leadership. Serves as the liaison with Joint Commission, the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and other Regulatory agencies for information and response. Facilitates continuous survey readiness for the Organization.
