About John Howard

After quitting my job of writing and directing regional spots for small town cable companies, I was given the opportunity to move to Amsterdam in 1997. I was a freelancer at IBM and worked as a technical writer for a couple years. After that, I moved to another IT company, but they wanted me to be a programmer which didn’t quite jive with my brain. I freelanced a bit and moved into the events industry for about 10 years. After that, I began my own catering company, and just when it was going good our good friend Corona came along and wiped out my business. After some freelance work as a handyman and a freelance shift, I began to work in a more sustainable market with solar panels, batteries, and all the other things that go along with that. During this time, I never stopped writing music or working on my hopefully one day to be released space rock opera. Challenging myself with new tasks… it’s like a new spice to a dish that you needed to add something extra to. I don’t proofread very often but troubleshooting and creativity are the things that excite me the most. Well, my guilty pleasure is also helping people when they come to me for a job. There’s nothing quite like a satisfied customer. Reach out to me if we can exchange information or if I can be of some help. I’m not interested in racking up numbers as far as context go.
