About John Hudson

John is currently the Operations Director of Thinking Dimensions (UK) a position he has held since the UK Company was established in 2007. He is responsible for the day to day operation of the company and the growth of the business around the KEPNERandFOURIE™ range of products in the field of Continual Service Improvement. John has been involved in development, marketing and delivery of the KEPNERandFOURIE™ products since 1997 in the EMEA region working with organisations in IT, Finance, Pharmaceutical, Aerospace and Education at various levels dependent on the customer needs. John started his professional career as a teacher in Rhodesia in the early 1970’s at a number of schools as a maths and sports specialist before joining the military for a 5 year stint in the “Bush War”. He was commissioned into an armour regiment and soon realised there was a good deal of enjoyment to be had in working at the “sharp end” of technology and communication - the IT bug had bitten! He moved to South Africa in the early 1980’s as soon found his way into a fledgling IT industry in learning and development where he applied his skills as a system engineer. Most of his time was spent in working in “disadvantaged” areas in Southern and Central Africa introducing computer based learning in schools, colleges and universities. This naturally led to a phase when he was involved in the development of multi-media applications for education, mining, banking and defence with the focus being on the upgrading of workforce skills. It was at this time that he first met Mat-Thys Fourie to take on a multi-purpose role with Thinking Dimensions in terms of product and market development. In January he moved permanently to the UK to help set up the Thinking Dimensions operation in Europe which today encompasses operations in Italy, Poland, Spain, Saudi Arabia and Turkey.
