John Isella, CEO, Noology NA Inc. John is an American and Italian citizen with Ukrainian permanent residence. Over 47 years experience in business development, business management, electrical/avionics engineering design, test, and systems integration. Engaged in Ukrainian business and industry since 2008. Since 2018 CEO of Noology NA developing the commercial defence industrial base of Ukraine and building relationships with other countries. Prior Director of International BD for Firefly Aerospace, developer of small class commercial space launch vehicles. John was the US representative for the Yuzhnoye Design Office in Dnipro, Ukraine from 2015-2018, for expansion of Yuzhnoye into the US and other international markets for space systems and services. John established Maritime Launch Services in Canso, Nova Scotia, Canada as a new space launch project to launch Ukrainian rockets intended to provide commercial satellite launch services from Canada. From 2002 to 2015 John was Director of Commercial Space Engineering Services at Vencore Services & Solutions in Reston, VA USA (formerly QinetiQ-NA), also serving as senior technical advisor to NASA’s Launch Services Program at Kennedy Space Center. John established the Commercial Space Division of Vencore, offering space business and engineering services to the commercial space industry worldwide. From 1993-2002, John founded and operated a commercial IT business in Connecticut, USA, which was sold after years of successful operation. From 1978-1993 John held several systems engineering and architect positions on programs like the Hubble Space Telescope, as well as classified intelligence, communications, space systems, and anti-submarine warfare helicopter programs.
