About John Jarrett

I began working in the technical field in 1993. Some of my experience and skills were gained by installing alarm systems in homes, businesses and banks. I was also exposed to key telephone systems, access control systems and fire alarm systems. When I entered the gaming industry, I learned to work on large-scale surveillance and access control systems. In I became a member of a team of surveillance technicians that installed the surveillance and access control systems in 15 Racetrack Slot facilities during start-up (14 of these sites were completed in a two-year period). During my 25+ years of working in the gaming industry, I have progressed from Surveillance Technician to Surveillance Specialist (supervisory role) to Technical Surveillance Manager and now hold the title of Sr Manager Gaming Integrity, Casino & Charitable Gaming. I oversaw the transition from analogue to digital recording at 22 gaming sites throughout Ontario between 2006 and 2012. Over the years, I have done some project management, purchased millions of dollars worth of equipment and hired integrators when needed while adhering to the strict policies and regulations surrounding gaming in Ontario. I am a strong leader with vast experience in surveillance systems, access control, facial recognition and people management. I am goal-oriented and strive to deliver excellence and add value to any initiative in which I participate.
