About John Jung

As an AWS Solutions Architect, on each Day 1, I support our customers' biggest challenges at a global scale. This wonderful role allows me to work to bridge gaps and improve outcomes, in both the technological infrastructure and human relationships. Previously, my experience with the US Federal Gov't combines almost a decade of civil service plus a decade of consulting as lead developer and architect. Interacting directly with government customers, I drafted requirements and develop consensus, with strong focus on cloud cybersecurity and containerization. In that time I've developed software and architecture that has supported: scientists, engineers, researchers, aviators, military personnel and air traffic controllers. A number of those efforts are still currently used in production every day. I have also helped write government proposals for C-suite executives. My blend of experience allows me to develop a quick understanding of customer values, needs and goals that I can apply at every level of my work. Whether I am writing detailed low-level code, architecting a higher level solution to a problem, or harnessing the abstract ideas for a creative solution to an open-ended problem, my experiences of varying customer needs enables my team to achieve success at every level.
