In November 2020 my wife & I set-up Ryedale Engineering Auto Logistics (REAL) based at Kirkbymoorside, North Yorkshire, UK. In addition to providing engineering & project management consultancy services to Oil & Gas we are also a Transport & Logistics Company. We work in collaboration with other transport providers plus have a new LWB van plus a smaller van and can provide these services locally, UK nationally & in Europe; Light Haulage Urgent Expediting for Energy Industries Motorcycle, Quad & ATV Transport Car Transport & Recovery House Clearances and Light Removals. We shall also become an Abnormal Load Escort Service in compliance with Highways England, Heavy Transport Association and Road Haulage Association Code of Practice. Our Escort Vehicle will be equipped with Regulation 65 flashing beacons plus the necessary signage and markings. Whilst employed by BP International I worked in Iraq from 2010 to 2016 as a Project Delivery Manager, where I was engaged in construction projects rebuilding the oil infrastructure. Among my responsibilities I was accountable for the movement of heavy loads with 300 tonne transporters and lifting operations with mobile cranes up to 500 tonnes. Now I will bring that experience to our new company with the support of my wife Margaret who does our administration and accounts.
