In 2019, John negotiated a record settlement for his client, Zita Sukys who was shot by the Victoria Police at the Inflation nightclub. The Victoria Police apologised for their conduct. In 2020, John negotiated the settlement for his client who suffered Serious Injury when a placard fell on the car she was driving on the Tullamarine freeway. In 2021, John obtained a Supreme Court of Victoria Judgment of more than for Mr Trtovac for the injuries he suffered at work. In 2025 John obtained a Supreme Court of Victoria Jury Verdict of more than for a worker who suffered severe hand injuries at work.
