About John Kay

My passion lies in the truck, bus and propulsion business. When my long time employer Caterpillar elected to exit the On-highway Truck Engine Business in 2009, I chose to pursue new opportunities with Allison first in Ontario Canada, then with new responsibilities in Indianapolis, Indiana. After 7 years in Indy I elected to return back to Canada for family and Segway into a new career with Wajax, the Allison distributor for Canada. All of these moves were selected to both challenge and enhance my knowledge, capabilities, and value. Throughout my career I have strived to achieve the highest standard of integrity while maintaining excellent working relationships with both my peers and clients. This combined with a strong "can do" work ethic has helped me exceed stretch goals to the benefit of both employers and customers. My native language is English though I'm also fluent in French. I hold both American & Canadian Citizenship so am free to embrace new opportunities throughout North America.
