WHAT DO I DO: I design bespoke buildings that work structurally, functionally, sustainably, cost effectively and that are beautiful as well. I have designed buildings throughout the County and further afield from healthcare buildings, restaurants and holiday homes to working with listed buildings HOW DO I DO IT: By being a fully qualified ARB registered and RIBA Chartered Architect with an additional architectural conservation qualification and a broad experience. I design using MMC when feasible and use the latest BIM software (Vectorworks) and have a deep interest in, and understanding of, sustainable architecture. I work with you from before the business case stage all the way though: planning applications; building regulation submissions; tender/construction information; building contract administration certifying progress, payment and completion; to 'in use' post occupancy evaluation. WHO DO I WORK WITH: My RIBA Chartered Practice KR.eativ: Architects Ltd works with other chartered building design professionals such as engineers and surveyors etc. As well as managing the design team and being design advisor and principal designer under CDM. WHAT PROBLEMS DO WE SOLVE? If: your land and/or buildings do not suit your lifestyle or that of your tenants/clients/customers. your land and/or buildings need to use less energy sustainably. your land and/or buildings have such a backlog of maintenance that they need a major renovation. you need a new building (or space and light) of any kind. Economic changes have left your land and/or buildings redundant and losing value. Then as an architect I can: help you determine your 'needs' from your 'wants'. design new sustainable schemes, or 'retrofit' older buildings, to use less energy. design the changes necessary to bring your property up to date to meet current needs. design a new building to be architecture along with any necessary chartered engineers etc. by using a combination of the above add value to your land and/or buildings. Research has shown that can be in the order of 10%. MY BACKGROUND: Born in Northamptonshire and still live here with a deep knowledge/understanding of the architecture and character of the County.
