My journey in combating drug-related issues has led me to become a recognized Subject Matter Expert in fentanyl, a role I've held since 2017. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of delivering classes, keynote speeches, and media interviews across the country, all centered on raising awareness about the dangers of fentanyl. In 2021, I was honored to be appointed to the Idaho Governor's Operation Esto Perpetua team, where I contributed to statewide initiatives aimed at tackling the fentanyl crisis. I'm also a founding member of the Idaho State Police Fentanyl Education Project and the Idaho Law Enforcement Diversion Program, both of which play critical roles in educating the public and law enforcement agencies on fentanyl-related issues. After retiring from the Idaho State Police as a Captain and District Commander in October 2023, I continue to dedicate my time to training and spreading awareness about fentanyl, ensuring that communities and law enforcement personnel are better equipped to handle the ongoing challenges posed by this potent drug.
