About John Kingman

I have been working in production and post-production for 20 years. I have held just about every job there is behind the camera before honing in on producing and directing. I highly enjoy working with clients to better understand their messaging, and then taking that messaging through the stages of production to hand back to them something that both accomplishes their brief and also surprises them with the quality and creativity behind it. Because of the collaborative nature of video production and my work in the New York and Los Angeles markets, I am capable of scaling a production from something as simple as a 3 minute DIY makeup tutorial, to shooting in multiple international cities over 14 days without ever heading West, all the way up to TV pilot and feature films (both of which I've done multiple times). I not only bring my own expertise and experience to productions, I pull from a broad swath of professionals to make sure each facet of the production is done to the highest quality. Production has given me a career that I truly love, and a body of work I'm proud of. I look forward to each new project with the demands and logistical problem solving it will ask of me.
