I’m an experienced Operations Manager with extensive technical knowledge which I’ve gained over my 30 years in the construction and fit-out industry. I have developed a diverse background in various construction sectors and building disciplines making me an asset to any team. I’ve been responsible for the successful delivery of numerous complex and phased projects working in live business as usual environments such as the Refurbishment of the NFU headquarters in Stratford and the Refurbishment of Barclaycard Centre in Kirkby, Britvic Rugby Production and Manufacturing. I have also worked specifically on various projects in the following specialities: Specialities: Principal Contracting, Fit-out, Shop fitting, Refurbishment,Food & Drink Production and Manufacturing, B2B, Joinery, Manufacturing; Washroom facilities, Fire doors, Design, M&E Services Installations,Responsibilities Acting as the first point of contact for the senior contract operations team to offer support and advice. Ensuring the contract management team complies with all health and safety aspects to ensure compliance with legislation and company procedures. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients and key consultants, acting as principal contact to key clients. Management of resources for each project based on experience and competency. Chairing and managing effective meetings; cascade team meetings, business unit meetings, and client/progress meetings where necessary. Preparation and production of progress reports and senior management reports as required. Delegate work effectively and encourage team ownership and accountability.
