About John Klibanoff

John Klibanoff MD, LTC (USAR ret.) is an Orthopaedic Surgeon in Rochester, NY. He specializes in complex joint revision replacement surgery and limb reconstruction. His practice also includes sports and arthroscopic joint reconstruction of the knee and shoulder. Dr. Klibanoff serves as the Lead Physician for the Rochester Regional Health System Western New York Orthopaedics office and is currently past Chairman of the 360 Services Organization that manages RASC, an ultra modern surgery outpatient services center. Throughout his years as an Attending surgeon, he has served as the Team Physician for the professional teams including the Rochester Knighthawks, the Rochester Rattlers and the Rochester Ravens. He was on the medical team for the Hawaii Ironman World Championships and is an active member of the IADMS and National Healthcare referral Network for the USA Gymnastics team. Dr. Klibanoff is a nationally known speaker on Biologics, joint reconstruction, and joint preservation. He has authored numerous articles and presentations covering topics such as osteonecrosis, joint replacement, hand trauma and hip reconstruction. Military service extended from 1990 to 2005 serving in both Gulf War conflicts and prior to his retirement had served at Ft. Lewis, MAMC, Ft. Irwin in Nevada and Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Dr. Klibanoff is an accomplished marathoner and triathlete and currently serves as the primary surgeon for the Rochester City Ballet.
