About John Lange

Proudly committed 24 successful years to serving Utah communities in law enforcement. I retired in 2019 as an Division Commander/Lieutenant over the criminal investigations unit. I am thankful for all the great leaders along the way that had a role in cultivating my success. I'm a firm believer in treating people with respect and doing what is right. These are just a few of the key elements that makes a true leader and I hope I was able to impact those along the way as many impacted me. I am passionate about automobiles, travel, and photography. I collect, restore, create, and enjoy all types and styles of automobiles. Some of my creations are well-noted in the car community (local and online). Having had secondary assignments as the Police Fleet Manager and Emergency Vehicle Driving instructor allowed me to share my passion by purchasing, outfitting, and designing award-winning police vehicles and of course teaching many officers, old and new, the in's and out's of police driving. I am an owner/operator of a luxury and exotic vehicle transport company and I also occasionally assist with training at the Utah Peace Standards and Training (police academy).
