I am a former corporate executive and founder of Letsijo Investments, an infrastructure-focused company. My work spans strategic consulting in water and energy, with core focus on delivering Smarta Water Solutions — a portfolio of four (4) innovative, tech-enabled water solutions products designed to bridge the digital divide, enhance water security, minimize downtime, reduce operational costs, and support ESG goals. With over 25 years of experience evenly split between executive leadership and entrepreneurship, I bridge the boardroom strategy with on-the-ground execution. This unique blend enables me to assist organizations reduce risks, strengthen operational resilience, safeguard business continuity, unlock ROI and long-term infrastructure value. I offer 360-degree perspectives on business strategy, capital infrastructure development and technology integration, which is shaped by my past diverse roles as Client representative, Engineering Consultant, and Service Provider across the Water, Energy, and Telecoms sectors in South Africa and broader African markets. In these roles I’ve successfully led multi-billion-rand infrastructure investment programs, managed complex governance frameworks, and delivered innovative solutions at leading South African utilities, Eskom and Telkom, as well as in private sector clients. Our Smarta Water solutions have proven impact and to date, 500+ Smarta systems have been deployed across Gauteng, Limpopo, Mpumalanga, and North West provinces, serving diverse sectors including commercial and residential properties, education, mining, agriculture, and water utilities. These deployments help clients mitigate water risks, secure reliable water supply, and advance ESG goals. One of the installations was featured on Carte Blanche and in national print media, showcasing its real-world impact and innovation.
