About John Lim

My journey in computing started when I enrolled into NUS studying Computing Science. Ever since, I have been interested in web based solutions. I spent time outside my classroom studying and gaining experience in web development. In an unexpected turn, I went to Israel on the NUS Overseas College program and was exposed to the entrepreneurial scene. I began to learn and understand more about entrepreneurship and in Jan 2016, I began my own startup journey with Solnalytics as a co-foudner, working on our first product Dashy. I have not forgotten about my passions prior to computing. I always had an affinity for music. I was first taking formal lessons on classical piano and moved on to learning through YouTube and by watching others, the bass and acoustic guitar. I continue to play music during my spare time. I also spend a lot of my time in Church - ACTS Church Singapore is my church that I call home. I believe in a God who loves me and has been responsible for who I am and where I am now. I believe in a balance of life. The abundant life is one not just focused on one aspect of life but an overflow of the various aspects - family, work, play and above all, God.
