Hello! I’m John Lin, a UX and design focused Mobile Application Developer with over 4 years of experience in mobile development. I specialize in React Native and TypeScript, and I am passionate about sharing exceptional user experiences with individuals through their mobile devices. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work with many talented teams and individuals, which has honed my skills in not only React Native, but also various tools and services such as AWS, Xcode and Android Studio. I pride myself on being curious, adaptable, and a team player, consistently delivering practical solutions with strong results. Some of my notable accomplishments include:* Built a deployment pipeline using Fastlane and Github Actions to allow the delivery of applications to both Appstore and Playstore with reduced deployment times * Integrated push notifications and deep linking to many applications which resulted in increased user engagement * Implemented components in React Native using TypeScript with high proficiency which improved code readability and improved code health My dedication to creating an UX-first mobile application fuels my drive for excellence and ongoing development. I thrive in dynamic environments where I can leverage my adaptability and problem solving skills to solve complex problems and drive innovation. In addition to my professional work, I am actively learning development in native Android development using Kotlin, which allows me to stay informed on the capabilities of native development.
