I've been a police officer for over 32 years. My current job at the St Paul PD is being the Chief of Staff to Chief Axel Henry. I formerly was the Senior Commander of the Special Enforcement Group which includes Special Investigations, Intelligence, Gang and Gun Investigations, Narcotics, Missing Persons, Human Trafficking, Digital Forensics Lab and Group Violence Reduction Project. Prior to that I was assigned as the Commander of the Criminal Intelligence Unit, as a Task Force Officer to the Minnesota Human Investigators Trafficking Task Force assigned to the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, investigated Domestic Violence cases and was the Sergeant in charge of our nationally recognized 19 team K9 Unit. I've been a defensive tactics and firearms instructor for 24 years. I conduct expert reviews and testimony of use of force cases including K9 deployments. I manage and supervise the law enforcement security for a large sport and concert venue overseeing the police and security for events with over guests.
