In my 28th year with the London Ambulance Service, 25 of which as a Qualified Paramedic. The majority of this time was on a double crewed front-line ambulances but now I’m operating as solo responder for the Cycle Response Unit in Central London.As of Nov ‘22, founding member of the Peer Pet Therapy Team for the London Ambulance Service, along with two of my colleagues. This is a voluntary scheme whereby our trained therapy dogs come into work to meet members of staff. A scheme that has been very well received, a perfect way to relieve stress.
