About John Luhrs

I am an experienced senior executive with a broad industry background in both the public, private and "not for loss" sectors including legal practice, following completion of law and commerce degrees, manufacturing and distribution, share broking, public health, telecommunications, engineering, mental health services, Iwi social services, technology and business set up in a local government environment. Together with my extensive leadership and managerial experience, I consider my points of difference are my strategic ability and commercial acumen. During my career I typically commenced many of my roles during times of substantial change and or disruption. However, I achieved and exceeded planned outcomes (both strategic and operational) and left each organisation in a more robust position than prior to my arrival. I have significant professional credibility, drive and flexibility and am open to considering roles (including fixed term) that include travel. I have recently completed a fixed term role for a Biofuel company transitioning through a significant expansionary phase. With the Managing Director returning to the business, following involvement in other commercial ventures, I am now looking for my next opportunity.
