About John Luther

Over 25 years ago my wife told me,"If you're going to help them, you might as well get paid for it". I've been running my own consulting firm ever since. I've worked with some truly talented people over the years (and still do!). Running your own business is both involved and exhausting, and yet terribly rewarding at the same time. I started helping my first clients when Windows XP just came out and the internet was starting to have real meaning. Now I have hundreds of clients with thousands of devices under management. I maintain a full array of managed hosting services, provide outsourced office services for small businesses, run a retail operation, manage a small staff of 4, and perform all the sales and accounting work for my business. Working for one company for 25 years makes for a boring resume. I work in the exciting space of small to midsize business providing great solutions to clients in more than 40 different industries. I've enjoyed solving complex business problems using any technology that has existed in the last three decades. I work for doctors, lawyers, hospitals, pharmacists, accountants, non-profits, churches, real estate brokers, municipalities, counties, old age homes, electricians, retail stores, library systems, schools systems, and manufacturers of all sorts of things. I've probably worked with hundreds of industry specific software packages (and installed them too). I enjoy the satisfaction of knowing I'm helping to solve real business problems for my clients. I work hard to make sure that my work is thorough and I follow up to make sure of it. Just ask any of them:)
