I am familiar with both the Cement and Aggregate process and the intricacies of Loadout operations, managing more than 50 employees, and have responsibility for a large fleet of heavy equipment. I have established and maintain strong working relationships with FEC, CSX and all our major and long time carriers. I work closely with the Sales Dept, Operations Managers, QC Managers, RM managers, Terminal Managers, GMs, and VPs regarding loading, shipping, quality, and delivery matters. Reduced gate to gate times within the Pennsuco facility by 25%. I manage the ordering and delivery of coal for cement plant and coordinate the receipt of all raw materials into the Pennsuco facility. I authored a 5 year,$2 million rail upgrade plan for the Pennsuco facility; negotiated contracts for said upgrades. Oversaw $2.2 million demolition project of old cement kilns and auxiliary equipment. In 2007 I became Material Management Team Lead in our SAP implementation project. From April to October of 2008 was acting Logistics Manager (in addition to Loadout and SAP roles); negotiating rates and coordinating freight with various carriers, communicating with external customers to assist in price negotiations, and provide basic analysis on logistics performance, develop, manage, and report KPIs. In 2009 I assumed responsibility for all stevedoring operations on all exports of cement.
