Feedback from External Business Partner Mark Davis of Aon to our Client Service Depatment:"I don’t know if I ever commented on John Lyons or not but I really like his style – aggressive, manages his file, manages his attorney rather than the opposite, etc. Never had a conversation with him where he was not on top of his game and he always had a game plan. As I recall, I was not very comfortable with his plan of action on a claim when I first talked with him a few years ago but he got it where he said it was going to go. Reminds me that none of us has a patent on the right way to do this and it does not matter how the claim gets where we want it to go as long as it gets there (or close depending on the venue). Been a fan of his since then. Not sure what criteria a claim has to meet to get in his hands but when we write truck business and if I am in the loop, I will be asking for him to be designated to our accounts. If that is possible I would appreciate if you could tell me how to get that done up front. We have a couple of accounts with very sharp risk managers that have been in this a long time. Think they would like his style as well. You have some very good adjusters but he stood out and if I never made this known to his supervisor then shame on me. Appreciate if you would see that this gets to his supervisor and in his personnel file for whatever its worth. Not sure what is going to happen with him when the truck business runs off but from what I have seen, he has value anywhere there are claims simply because of his style of managing losses and the confidence he instills in our clients that he is working the file rather than processing a claim.
