About John M. Dunne

Working with Applied Materials has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. I had the incredible opportunity to spend 13 weeks in Taiwan receiving hands-on training in Trillium, PVD, MDP, and ALD systems—learning from some of the best in the industry. This not only enhanced my technical skills but gave me a deeper understanding of how to better serve our customers. Since returning, I’ve been heavily involved in tool installations at Intel’s Fab 34, constantly learning new technologies, solving problems, and developing more efficient techniques. My growth has also extended into soft skills—thanks to customer engagement training, I’ve become more confident, collaborative, and effective under pressure. I’ve taken on increasing leadership responsibilities, including leading a team of six engineers through a successful chamber installation and integration project. Now, I proudly lead a team of 18 exceptional engineers, overseeing day-to-day operations, safety, and team development within Fab 34. I also led the safe and timely decommissioning of seven tools in Fab 24, ensuring all safety protocols and customer timelines were met. Most recently, I’ve transitioned to a new toolset with the CPC team and am excited to continue my training journey in Taiwan and China. I’m passionate about continuous learning, problem-solving, and building high-performing teams in high-tech environments. Let’s connect!
