November 2015 I have recently been involved with formulating a cultural resource policy for the City of Ojai. As part of their ad hoc committee on archaeology we have been involved in weekly discussions on developing policy on surveys, tribal consultation, and educational programs so that the public can be informed. It has been a most enlightening experience and one that I hope to share with others as move to a formal resolution.
