Hailing from Miami Beach, Florida, John is an experienced Technical Operations Leader with over 25 years working in the airline/aviation industry. Skilled in Operations Management, Aircraft Maintenance, Airworthiness, Management, and Leadership. A strong operations professional with a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from University of Miami - School of Business along with a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics focused in Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. John has overseen all facets of aircraft maintenance under Part 121, 125 and 145, to include SMV's, A, C and D checks, Hard landing Phase II Inspections with complex repairs along with line maintenance, materials management, Repair Station DQC/CI and Accountable Manager roles. John has also been involved with operations start-ups such as ETOPS, Part 91 Ferry Coverage, MCC Management, 767 and 747-8 Ops Spec implementation along with Passenger OPS. Having been a primary AOG team lead, John has also lead numerous AOG repairs globally. John's current and past professional memberships include the Luxembourg Airport User Committee, Crisis Management Go Team and Family Assistance Care Team Member. John's interests include Auto Racing (Advanced/Expert, Former DMSB IA License Holder, having driven in the Gleichmäßigkeitsprüfungen Nürburgring Nordschleife (GLP Series 2010/11), Ice Hockey (Former Jr. A and Landesliga/Regionalliga player) now playing for the Dallas Stars Warriors and SWMG in the SSHL, playing golf and serving as Director of Selection for a small consortium of Riesling wine enthusiasts (currently two private labels). John is also a former USAF F-16 Advanced Dedicated Crew Chief and has held SCI/SAP clearance levels.
