On LinkedIn, I present myself as a software engineer / architect with a background in research related to distributed, heterogenous computation, time synchronization, and a term called speculative programming that I made up to describe the kind of improvisatory software design that creatives, especially in the time-based arts like music, dance, and theater, often engage in. Elsewhere on the web, I present myself as a performer, sound artist, and performance philosopher. Most of my artistic work is done in collaboration with choreographer and video artist Teoma Naccarato, with whom I have been working for over a decade now. In our work together, we build and perform extended-durational work within elaborate, high-channel-count video and audio systems that operate in real-time. I am passionate about bridging the gap between technology and the arts, seeking projects and working environments where I can integrate my software engineering expertise with my artistic pursuits. I am constantly on the lookout for opportunities to bring together these two aspects of my work, leveraging technology to enhance artistic expression and create innovative experiences.
