Career Summary I create drawings/sheets combining/coordinating information from designers’ sketches, notes and verbal guidance and by using examples from previous jobs and submittals. I develop plans/elevations/sections/details using acquired knowledge and fundamental concepts and practices pertaining to the Architectural disciplines. I am responsible for the set-up and coordination of discipline specific drawings at project start-up and throughout final construction documents. eg. Architectural, Structural and MEP coordination. Here are some additional general strengths and qualifications I would like to share: • 959 classroom hours in Drafting/Engineering Technology. • Passed Engineering Tech II exam (KDOT) • Previous experience as Laborer Local 1290, Machinist for Cessna Aircraft, worked as non-union carpenter, roofer and cement worker/finisher • Proficient in CAD thru 2009 and capable of learning other software packages as necessary. • Strong analytically and problem solving skills with a demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member integrating elements from multiple sources and disciplines into an organized and cohesive set of construction documents • Highly proficient in time management, organization, planning and prioritization. • Proven initiative, positive attitude, team-oriented, self-motivated and highly enthusiastic. • Ability to manage changing priorities, meet deadlines and adapt to a fluid working environment • Possess the ability to back check my own work for accuracy. I try to look at how it all goes together to allow decisions to be made early in the process and avoiding as many as 50% of the RFI's.
