Background
About John Maddox
I have more than thirty years’ experience in construction, predominantly in Social Housing. I have experience working with various Local Authorities and Housing Trusts, delivering repairs and maintenance as well as strategic asset management. In 2016, I joined Structec (NW) Ltd as Operations Manager, overseeing the company’s residential refurbishment, disabled adaptation and planned & reactive maintenance works. I am committed to supporting customers and residents of the community through the delivery of high quality, good value services. I am a keen advocate of creating career opportunities both through apprenticeship programmes and through the promotion of development opportunities for all colleagues with a range of initiatives.I have worked with a number of charitable organisations and social value initiatives, including Citizens Advice Halton (of which I was a trustee for three years) and the skills exchange project OBAAT in Uganda (which I participated in for five years). Most recently, I have become a trustee for Al’s ARC, a charity which supports people with disabilities and complex health needs in Knowsley.
