About John Maddox

With 6+ years in educational roles, my journey as a Science Teacher at Wayne-Westland Community Schools has been defined by a commitment to fostering intellectual curiosity and resilience in students. My core competencies lie in secondary education and developing engaging curricula that resonate with diverse learners. At the heart of my mission is the belief that education extends beyond the classroom—evidenced by founding a thriving Tabletop Games club and leading a transformative soccer program. Most recently, my role as a Varsity Girls Soccer Coach has been a testament to my leadership and ability to inspire. We celebrated a historic win, the program's first district match victory in a decade, and expanded our team to include a JV program. Building on my technical support and word processing skills, I've championed a strategic approach to coaching and education, ensuring our team and students are equipped for success on and off the field.
