A holder of Bachelor degree in Statistics and Masters in M&E, for 10 years, John Malisa has worked on Monitoring and Evaluation on GBV - gender-based violence, WASH, Livestock, Agriculture, climate change mitigation, Environment, women empowerment, social capital and HIV (designing and implementation of interventions). Between 2012 -2013, Mr. John Malisa worked for a program officer Monitoring and Evaluation with Kivulini Women’s Rights Organization in lake zone Tanzania responsible for monitoring and evaluating Kivulini activities based on the performance monitoring plan. 2013 he started coordinating a new DFID-funded project responsible for monitoring the legal aid and rights support program through legal services facilities in Lake Victoria at Kivulini women’s right organization. In 2014 he served as a program officer M&E responsible for process monitoring the desirable changes in policies, laws and practices, which support community initiatives to prevent violence against women and girls in Tanzania. 2015 John Malisa having working with Tanzania women lawyers association with vast skills in the areas of organizational development assessment, participatory community development and advocacy, project management (development of budgets, strategic planning, dynamic project implementation and participatory planning monitoring and impact assessment of development project) and more experience on capacity building including training and facilitation, community mobilization and campaigning for change and Sexual reproductive health rights. From 2016 to 2021 Mr John Malisa started working with Heifer International (Heifer) the leading international development organization working to end hunger and poverty while caring for the earth. Heifer’s work is focused on improving the livelihoods of smallholder farmers and building resilience among local communities. From 2021 he started working with Belgian Development agency as Expert in Result monitoring
