I am a former Global Category Manager with over 15 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing (Procurement) for Financial Services with an open and collaborative mindset. Understanding customer needs and presenting and implementing solutions is key to my ability to deliver Procurement excellence. I have the ability to influence internal stakeholders and vendors at all levels through highly developed communication skills. I have strong analytical skills and procurement knowledge across indirect categories, including all elements of external workforce i.e. BPO, Consulting, Contracting, plus Corporate Real Estate and Logistics. As Category Manager I was accountable for end-to-end sourcing activities and development of Swiss Re's Sourcing strategy for the global Business Process Outsourcing category of spend, including planning and leading BPO initiatives cross-divisionally. Developing and assigned sub-category strategies as part of the wider Professional & HR Services Category Strategy, proactively leading sourcing projects, specification definition and demand management, as well as management of specific supplier performance and innovation activities. In taking the ownership for BPO, I acted as a lead for advisory to business partners in the BPO category across Swiss Re, ultimately executing the strategies to deliver value, improve quality, optimize cost and mitigate risk in the supply chain, consistently meeting commitments with integrity.
