About John Manuola

From 1984 until the late 90s I worked in the financial services industry as a Certified Financial Planner and investment manager. Much of that time I was CFO a small financial planning firm in the Bay Area near San Jose, CA. I was a licensed life, health and disability broker.a licensed securities broker (series 7 and 24).and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP). I left the industry in the late 90s to pursue my life dream of becoming a professional photographer. I spent much of the next 12+ years working in the photography industry, primarily as a sports and portrait photographer. The economic downturn in 2008 and the accelerated growth of the private digital photography industry put a damper on that business venture. So in late 2012 I began the process of returning to the financial services industry. I never thought I would return to that industry. And even now, I chose not to return to the investment side of the industry. Instead I deviated my path into the Property & Casualty side. It definitely has challenged my learning skills. But I thoroughly enjoy this end of the business, simply because it focuses nearly exclusively on protecting assets and such. Working this end of the industry really promotes my long-standing desire to serve. Everyone needs insurance in some form or another. My job is merely to help find the best coverage at the best rates possible and to serve the needs of my clients.to give them peace of mind that this part of their financial lives are being careful by a professional.but much more that merely a professional.someone who cares about people.
