About John Marsh

As a Hosting Engineer at Wells Fargo, I am responsible for the engineering functions, design, and capacity planning of 12 international colocation facilities across APAC and EMEA. I have 22+ years of experience in global enterprise level data center management and engineering, covering all aspects of the data center from network, server, and storage installations to new site design/planning/building. I bring a holistic view of data center management that provides a full circle view into the current management structure. That alone does not define me in any shape or form. I enjoy creating things, all kinds of things. I have done concert production from small intimate shows to large scale arena events. From mixing FOH/monitors, directing, responsibility over power, hands, and stage management. I did this for 6 years both volunteer and paid but have retired since. Cars and boats, now this is my main passion. Reviving old junk, building race cars, or doing a restoration. Currently drag racing and building a drag and drive car to start that level of competition in late 2024/25. My wood and metal shop is used for all of my project, which I share on social media and you tube.
