About John Martin

John has over twenty years of telecommunications experience in the fields of electrical engineering, software development and international telecommunications testing. He has worked in the following groups: systems engineering, software test, development, systems verification, on-site installation and verification, customer support, and international certification. Through his business career, John has traveled to many countries including the United Kingdom, Kuwait, Ukraine, and Russia. He has led teams of people for country specific customer acceptance testing, as well as national certification compliance. These duties have included interfacing with all levels of management. After nearly 10 years in corporate America, John formed GSI Labs with a partner and designed and developed the EASy suite of applications targeted at the telecommunications industry. This software monitors more wireless emergency 911 calls than any other. John designed and developed a consumer VOIP call recording program named VoiceRip. Additionally, John was integral in the development of the product web site and marketing strategies and tactics. Specialties: John has designed and developed software in many languages including: C, C++, C#, Visual Basic, Perl, ASP.NET, Assembler, Swift (Objective-C) and SQL for industry and consumer users. His software incorporates high functionality and user-friendly interfaces. He has the ability to generate new product concepts, organize large projects, manage staff effectively, and keep the team focused while lending decision-making ability to any endeavor. Additionally, John gives back to his community through the fire department where he volunteers as a fire fighter.
