About John Martin

I have been providing technology consulting for over 20 years while specializing in grants management business process consulting. I also have deep domain knowledge and experience with system implementation, support, and operation and have accumulated pragmatic and practical grants management best practices and have a thorough understanding of the grant-making community. I am accustomed to developing and refining grant policies and practices based on business changes as well as legislation. I am often involved in business and process modeling efforts to improve the grant lifecycle, identifying opportunities for improvement, fit gap analysis, and requirements gathering. I have worked in all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC) including requirements, design, development, and testing, with emphasis on training. I hold a B.A. in International Relations from George Mason University as well as being a Certified Grants Management Specialist (CGMS) and a member of the National Grants Management Association.
