Unfortunately, offshoring took it's toll and I leveraged my skills and knowledge in the IT space to become a Project Manager and then a Sr. Business Analyst. I had successfully built an IT consulting sourcing program and got the opportunity to build one at Navient. I went from managing the process of selecting and onboarding contractors to being responsible for all services contracts and eventually running the department.
