About John Mayan

John works as a Physician Executive at InterSystems since 2016, where he helps clients achieve successful implementations of Health Information Systems, working with them through every step of the process, including assessing their pre-implementation state, educating them about their different options, and evaluating results with a benefits realisation approach. After nearly 10 years of clinical practice as an Internal Medicine specialist, John specialized in Health Informatics at Hospital Italiano de Buenos Aires, an academic medical canter awarded HIMSS level 7 in Argentina, where he coordinated the Clinical Terminologies section, in addition to designing and implementing different modules related to medication management for the in-house Hospital Information System at Hospital Italiano. John is passionate about the revolutionary changes made possible by the combination of human ingenuity and technology.
