I have 40 years’ experience investigating and modeling hydrological systems, with particular strengths in assessing the impact of land use and climate change on hydrologic processes.I have expertise in the spatial and temporal variability of a range of hydrological processes; especially those affecting rainfall-runoff relationships, groundwater dynamics, surface water-groundwater interactions, and their implications for human activity. I joined WSP Opus after over 20 years at Victoria University, leaving as an Associate Professor. I am a certified Environmental Commissioner and Independent Professional Advisor to the New Zealand Transport Agency.
