About John Mello

John Mello has more than 16 years of experience in Project Management, coordination and, administration in non-profit, government, and the private sector. John has demonstrated exemplary time and deadline management. He has excelled in customer and employee satisfaction. As the Founder and Director of Civic Works’ Center for Sustainable Careers, John increased the graduate placement rate from 70% to 85% and increased the budget from annually to over $2million annually. John served in the Greater Baltimore Grassroots Criminal Justice Network. He has served in Baltimore’s Green and Healthy Homes Learning Network and in two Green For All Communities of Practice that were focused on building strategies for re-entry and employment for people who had been incarcerated.
