About John Meredith

I am 20 year veteran as a structural firefighter and paramedic. I have a very positive attitude and I am in great physical shape. I have worked in very difficult environments with a large amount responsibility. I have and continue to work part time with private and municipal ambulance/fire services around the Montgomery area. I have recently moved to the City of Pelham where I have worked as a fire/medic for the last 12 years. I have been riding as an Acting Officer in Charge (AOIC) of and engine company (3 to 4 men) for 10 of those years. My decision making ability and fire ground capabilities have grown tremendously throughout these years. I am able to make professional/sound decisions in high paced and very stressful situations. I am a highly experienced paramedic that has great communication skills. I continue to seek educational/training opportunities and aspire to become a better fire/medic and leader for my department every day. I haven proven to be dependable, hard working, and highly motivated throughout my career. I am looking for a part time job where I can utilize my education, skills, and experience in the fields of emergency medical treatment or structural firefighting.
