About John Meredith

John Meredith has been involved in the design and construction industry for more than 20 years, beginning with a decade of on-site construction experience, across multiple project scales and types. Prior to joining Method Studio, Mr. Meredith spent 13 years at Arizona State University, including 8 years as primary architectural coordinator for the Office of the University Architect, during a time of extensive expansion and renovation across 5 campuses encompassing 1200 buildings and more than 25 million square feet. He was involved at all levels of university facilities planning and design, from master planning, design and construction management, design review, sustainability review, and permitting including code and accessibility review. His professional experience as an Architect includes project management, construction administration, design, and programming. Mr. Meredith has led over 50 design studies, and participated in over 25 master planning studies, and has successfully managed more than 75 projects through the construction phase. He led design on more than 8 major capital projects (7 of which are LEED Silver or higher), totaling over $700M, and encompassing nearly 2 million square feet. In addition he coordinated more than 15 significant historic preservation efforts, and 8 key sustainability projects, plus managed design on most of ASU’s solar and renewable energy efforts, equaling more than 24MW of energy generation.
