About John Michell

I have split my career between two faces of the same coin. As COO or President, I have helped entrepreneurs and multi-generational family business owners scale, make their companies sustainable, increase their profitability and ultimately sell. As an Executive in large enterprises I made my mark driving strategic acquisitions and leading their integrations. In my latest chapter as COO of Infusion we doubled the size of the business to 100M dollars in revenue over 5 years, built more profitable and scalable capabilities in Poland and ultimately sold the business to Avanade (an Accenture and Microsoft owned Company) in 2017. I spent the past year successfully leading the integration of the two firms. I am a collaborative leader and I pride myself on my ability to grow the team around me. I have the vision to see people’s strengths and the patience to coach them to achieve their maximum potential. My personal satisfaction is achieved by mentoring my team to innovate and lead. I have a drive to help companies identify the gaps required to scale and then mobilize quickly to fill those gaps. I have an equal passion for driving organizational efficiency by simplifying process or building systems to support and automate processes with a goal of improved profitability. I am an executive with leadership and operational expertise in a diverse array of business functions including Operations, Finance, Legal and Contracting, Human Resources, M&A, Internal Systems and Talent Acquisition; both in the private and the public sector. I have frequently engaged in projects related to international growth and successfully launched multiple new geographic regions worldwide.
